Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center serving the Black Hills region from two locations: Rapid City and Spearfish, South Dakota. Shoppers will find new and gently used furniture, appliances, cabinets, building materials, and home goods priced 30–70% below retail. Every purchase and every donation directly funds Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity's mission to build and repair affordable homes for local families.

Donate Items to ReStore

Remodeling, downsizing, or just clearing space?

Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts new and gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials, keeping usable items out of the landfill while funding local home builds. There are two ways to donate:

Drop off during donation hours at either the Rapid City or Spearfish location.
Schedule a free pickup for large items.

Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore offers free pickup service for qualifying furniture, appliances, and building material donations.

Pickup service covers Bennett, Butte, Custer, Fall River, Jackson (Pine Ridge portion), Lawrence, Meade, Oglala Lakota, and Pennington counties.

SCHEDULE YOUR PICKUP

Novelis, a global producer of aluminum rolled products and recycler of aluminum, is providing recycling bins and monetary grants to Habitat for Humanity to help increase sustainability across the U.S. and Canada. As a Habitat for Humanity affiliate, Black Hills Area Habitat is participating. Please join us in recycling and bring your aluminum to us in Rapid City and Spearfish ReStore locations.
