Construction Committee Chair
Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity is always eager to welcome active, caring people to take part in our various committees as chairpeople, secretaries, or standing members!
Active Committees Include:
Members review all applications, review credit reports, conduct home visits to consider substandard housing needs, and recommend partner families to the Board of Directors. They meet as needed and conduct the quarterly information meetings.

Members of this committee discuss construction materials, practices, and safety. We are currently seeking volunteers with experience in safety procedures as well as architectural and design experience.
Meets the first Wednesday of every month @ noon at the Habitat office

Site Selection Committee
Members utilize their expertise to determine if the property is appropriate for the construction of Habitat homes. The committee works in conjunction with the construction committee and is always looking for and soliciting property.
Meets the third Tuesday of the month @ 4:00 p.m. at Habitat office

Site Selection Secretary
Currently, site selection is looking for a secretary to take minutes during the monthly meetings. Time commitment is only 3 hours per month.

Northern Hills Committee
Committee members will help identify families, volunteer and building opportunities in the northern hills.
Southern Hills Committee
Committee members will help identify families, volunteer and building opportunities in the southern hills.
