A Brush with Kindness or ABWK will provide a means of building community pride through simple, exterior repair projects including exterior painting, weatherization, landscaping and yard clean-up. We hope to eventually expand to performing roof repairs and window and door replacements. These types of projects, though small, can make a huge difference in a home and neighborhood.

We are looking for low income homeowners who want to work with us to maintain their homes but don't have the means to pay the cost outright. Through helping families improve their homes we hope to increase unity and pride and ultimately make a difference in their neighborhood.

ABWK will give our affiliate the opportunity to double the families we'll serve this year. The success of ABWK is dependent upon the generosity of our community through volunteering and financial support and on the willingness of the families to reach for a 'hand up'.
